For 2018, when trying to put together a “Valentine’s Day” shoot, I got stuck. I had red and pink and purple and hearts and flowers on the brain and no solid idea what I wanted to do with them. So I stepped back from that, said to myself “pretend this isn’t for a holiday and just think about love, what do you want to shoot?” Which brought me to my first love, which is books, which brought us to this shoot. Happy Valentine’s Day.
