This was the first set Jerry and I shot together, back in May 2009. We were still in our old apartment where “putting up a backdrop” consisted of me thumbtacking fabric to the ceiling. We had a less-than-great camera, and only various household lamps for lighting. Some of these images are deeply technically flawed, even after I did my best with them in re-editing in 2022. But this remains, and will always be, one of my favorite sets, because it was the beginning of our journey.
Excellent in it’s simplicity, very warm and inviting. Funny what can happen when you don’t know what you don’t know.

Really like this set. You look stunning and the photos are utterly charming. There’s an aspect to them that I can’t quite put my finger on. Just goes to show that you don’t need expensive sets and cameras to produce quality art <3
