Hand-Knit OOAK Sock Monkey Hat

This one-of-a-kind sock monkey hat was hand-knit for me by one of my dearest friends after I saw one she had made for a kid and jokingly said “you’ll be making them in adult sizes too, right?!” and a month later it was at my house. I wore it for the ‘Let It Snow’ gallery and it worked well over a wig but tragically not as well over my real hair so, after years of it being carefully stored and looked at often & lovingly, I have made the decision to let it go to a better home, and hope my dearest Mags will understand how hard but how necessary this decision was.

The quality is exceptional. This woman can make a pompom like no one I’ve ever seen. It’s an adorable hat and, as I said, a one-of-a-kind, at least in adult sizes.
